What is a fiber optic camera?

A fiber optic camera, or fiberscope, is a bundle of optical fibers which transmits an image from one end, typically from a lens, to the other, where an eyepiece or camera is affixed. This can be used to view inside the human body, machinery, sewer infrastructure, and other places that are generally difficult to access and help to diagnose internal problems.
