POF Temperature Resistance

Plastic optical fiber is able to withstand extreme ranges of operating temperatures.

Effects of Temperature on Plastic Optical Fiber

One of the many advantages of plastic optical fiber is its ability to withstand a wide range of operating temperatures, and rapid temperature changes with a minimal change in attenuation loss. The following page presents temperature test results for Mitsubishi ESKA® POF cable.

The information contained herein is presented as a guide to product selection. It is subject to change without notice, and should not be regarded as a representation, warranty or guarantee with regard to the quality, characteristics or use of this product.
