POF Electrical Isolation
Because POF is made of insulating materials, it can provide electrically isolated data links in environments and applications where electrical isolation is critical, such as high-voltage switching control circuits or communication systems.
At room temperature, Mitsubishi ESKA® has an average breakdown voltage of 35 kV. The following figure shows the testing method for this property.
