AVAGO POF (Polymer Optic Fiber) Components: FiberFin ® has produce Hundred’s of thousands of the AVAGO technologies® Part number HFBR- XXX000 line of fiber optic cables to the manufacturers specifications using Mitsubishi ESKA ® Polymer fiber whether it is GHCP or the GHV cable. FiberFin POF cables procedures follows AVAGO technologies® recommendations that all Versalink connectors be epoxied and then crimped on as that the connectors will be used in industrial type environments the connectors are given 24 hours of time for a full cure on the epoxy before termination is done. Then these cables are terminated using the FiberFin 4 diamond-finishing machine to guarantee that the surface finish is better than a 4um micro finish and that all the cables are the same. FiberFin also support the AVAGO technologies® product line with its own line of compatible products The Strain relief Part # FF-LSSTR-color that can be used on the Versalink ® friction locking connector HFBR 4501 / 4511 and the HFBR 4503 / 4513 the Versalink ® latching connector. JIS F05 and F07 Connectors and Components: FiberFin produces TOSLink and PN/F07 cables to the JIS specifications using OEM Connectors and OEM Plastic Optical Fiber. We manufacture our cables with the industry’s best optical data cable like the Mitsubishi ESKA ® Polymer fiber whether it is GHCP or the GHV cable or the 5mm Diameter professional line of audio cable. The attenuation (optical loss) is less than 0.15dB/m on this premium data grade cable (this allows our cables to perform at much longer lengths than the competition). FiberFin POF cables produce the finest quality audio signal. We also can make your cable assembly with our Armored jacket shielding this made of high quality Stainless steel. (The same manufacturer that makes the pay phone cords and you know how tough they are!). JIS F05 and F07 Connectors and Components: TOSLink (EIA-J) fiber optic Digital audio cables carry Digital audio data in the form of light pulses, rather than using electricity, eliminating the distortions caused by inductance, capacitance and resistance of wire cables. Digital Audio inputs and/or outputs are available on many newer Dolby Digital (Dolby 5.1, 6.1, AC3, Prologic, etc) and DTS surround sound receivers, DVD players, CD players, minidisk players and recorders, MP3 and DAT recorders, professional Audio Cards for Computer Digital Audio workstations, Outboard AD/DA Converters and satellite dish receivers. Compatible with S/PDIF, ADAT’s, DAW’s and Dolby Digital DTS audio devices using the TOSLink interface. There are two sizes of connectors: Large TOSLink connectors are used where you might have room for the connection and will work with the large 5mm outside diameter cable that can minimize the bend radius and can handle harsher environments. Note: these are usually more expensive Small TOSLink connectors are used where you tighter working conditions for the connection on DVD’s, CD and Super audio CD players, and surround sound receivers and will not fall out as easy as the design of this connection is held in by the friction on the two small tabs on the side of the” dog style housing”. These connectors are less expensive and work well with the industry standard 2,2mm size cable. The core is the same on all 1000-micron POF cables. Whether it’s the 5mm or the 2.2mm the attenuation (optical loss) is less than 0.15dB/m on this premium data grade cable (this allows our cables to perform at much longer lengths than the competition) PN F07 connectors / cables are used where you need a duplex application.
